What to do in Marquette

Marquette is a beautiful place, and the more things you know about the area the better you're experience will be while staying in here. If you love being outdoors than you're in the right place, Marquette has so many different things you can do, and I'm still learning new places to enjoy and I have been living here since I was born. Hiking trails are all over here so it's hard for me to tell you all of them, but some of the best are Mount Marquette located along the Carp River, Sugar Loaf Mountain on County Road 550, and the highest mountain in Marquette County, Hogsback Mountain which is also on County Road 550 across from Sugar Loaf Mountain. Also if you're into fishing there is so many places you can choose to fish, being a fisherman myself I'm not going to tell all you all my secret spots, but of course there is Lake Superior, a ton of inland lakes, rivers, streams, there not hard to find and of course the rivers and lakes are all good when you need to cool off in the summer. Golfing is also pretty big here in Marquette, Northern has their own course off of M28, and Grey Walls off of County Road 553 are the main ones that I know of, also Disc Golf another form golf is another popular thing in Marquette. There are two courses, Powder Mill off of County Road 550 along the Dead River which is right off campus. The other one is the Silver Creek Course which is off of Silver Creek Road in Harvey, just south east of Marquette. In the Winter I'd just suggest staying inside it's mostly very cold, storming, or a little bit of both. But there is also things to do, skiing or snowboarding on Marquette Mountain, you can cross country ski, snowshoeing, ice fishing on Lake Superior, and my favorite thing to do outdoor hockey and there are many places you can go for that.  I hope you all enjoy your time in Marquette!
